Penyengat island or islands in the title Penyengat Inderasakti historical sources, is a small island located approximately 6 km from the town of Tanjung Pinang, the capital of Riau Islands province. The island is roughly the size of only 2500 x 750 m, and is approximately 35 km from the island of Batam. This island can be addressed by using a boat or better known bot bot pompong. By using a bot pompong, time that can be reached within approximately 15 minutes.

Penyengat Island is one of the attractions in the Riau Islands. One of the objects we can see is the Great Mosque of Sultan Riau made from egg whites, the tombs of the king, the tomb of the national hero Raja Ali Haji, Office and Palace complex in Bukit Chair defenses.
